PostNL Netherlands provides tracked delivery for eligible Vendora orders sent from the Netherlands to buyers in the Netherlands and supported international destinations. Buyers can choose this delivery method at checkout when it is available for the order.
Buyer instructions
When a seller has PostNL Netherlands enabled, buyers can choose it as the delivery method during checkout.
If PostNL Netherlands is not available at checkout, the buyer can contact the seller through chat and ask them to enable it:
• from the Sell your item page,
• from the Edit your ad page, or
• by sending a payment request with PostNL Netherlands enabled.
PostNL sends delivery or collection updates by email or in the PostNL app. You can also follow the order in Vendora.
Once the transaction is accepted, the seller receives the shipping instructions and prepares the parcel.
Seller instructions
After the buyer completes payment, the seller is notified to proceed with shipping.
From the transaction page, select Instructions & Shipping and follow the steps shown there.
• Use only the shipping label or QR code generated by Vendora for that order. Print and attach the label clearly, or show the QR code at handover if the order instructions say that the courier will print the label.
• Remove or fully cover old labels and barcodes. Do not change the delivery address or add a second transport label.
• Drop off the parcel at the PostNL location shown in the order instructions.
• Keep the drop-off receipt or digital handover confirmation until the order is completed.
• After PostNL records the first physical scan, tracking becomes active and Vendora updates the order automatically. No manual shipping-status update is needed.
Package limits & dimensions
Each shipment may contain one item:
• up to 20 kg: maximum dimensions L+W+H ≤ 150 cm
Measure and weigh the parcel after all protective packaging has been added.
Delivery details & important notes
Delivery is to the buyer’s address or a PostNL location, depending on the service selected at checkout. Delivery within the Netherlands is usually up to 3 business days. Collect parcels before the deadline in the PostNL notification.
• After the first PostNL scan, Vendora updates the shipping status automatically.
• If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, follow the instructions and collection deadline shown in the courier tracking or notification.
Packaging responsibility
The seller is responsible for packaging the shipment. Proper packaging is essential to protect the parcel during transport, and inadequate packaging can affect a damage claim.
• Use a rigid, undamaged outer box suitable for the item’s weight.
• Wrap items separately, protect corners and fragile parts, and fill empty space so the contents cannot move.
• Seal every opening and seam with strong parcel tape. A Fragile label does not replace protective packaging.
• Remove or fully cover old labels and barcodes.
• Place the Vendora shipping label flat on the largest side without covering a seam or folding it around an edge.
Tracking your parcel
Both buyers and sellers can follow the shipment from Profile → Transactions → Order details.
The parcel can also be tracked on the official PostNL tracking page: https://www.postnl.nl/en/receiving/parcels/track-and-trace/
Tracking may remain at “label created” until PostNL records the first physical scan.
Damaged or lost shipments
First, report the problem through Profile → Transactions → Order details. For damage or missing contents, the buyer must report it before approving the order and within 48 hours of delivery.
Then contact Vendora Support and provide the requested evidence. Keep the parcel, all packaging and the shipping label until the case is closed.
Contact Vendora within 48 hours of delivery for damage or missing contents. Send proof of drop-off and tracking details. For damage, include photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, damaged item and shipping label. For delivered-but-not-received, include a signed non-receipt declaration if requested.
Compensation: PostNL’s amount depends on the selected service and route. The applicable amount is confirmed only after the carrier reviews the claim and evidence.
For Vendora’s general evidence and transport-damage process, see the Return Policy.
Prohibited items
Do not send dangerous or illegal goods, explosives, weapons or ammunition, narcotics, cash or prohibited valuables, live animals, human remains, uncontrolled perishables or leaking parcels. International shipments of batteries, aerosols, perfumes, alcohol, tobacco, medicines, plants and food are accepted only when destination and transport rules allow them.
This list is not exhaustive. The item must also comply with Vendora’s rules, the carrier’s current terms, and the laws of the origin and destination countries. If an item needs a special dangerous-goods, temperature-controlled, age-verified, insured or customs service, it cannot be sent with a standard Vendora label.
