Refund policy

When you purchase an item through “Buy via Vendora”, your payment remains protected until the transaction is completed.

Refund or pre-authorization release?

If the seller does not accept your order, the amount reserved on your card may be a temporary pre-authorization rather than a completed payment.

In this case, Vendora has not received the money. Your bank will automatically release the amount, so this is not considered a refund.

When will I receive a refund?

For orders with shipping, you have 2 days after delivery to inspect the item and report a problem.

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The item is significantly different from its description or photos.
  • The item was damaged during shipping.
  • The seller agrees to issue a refund because you no longer want to keep the item.
  • Vendora determines that a refund should be issued following the review of a disputed transaction.

If you simply do not want to keep the item, the seller is not required to accept your request. If the request is rejected, the payment is released to the seller and no refund is issued.

Will I need to return the item?

Depending on the case, you may need to return the item before the refund can be completed. In some cases, a refund may be issued without requiring a return.

For all return conditions, costs, deadlines, and instructions, read our Return Policy.

Refunds for in-person transactions

During an in-person meeting, you have 30 minutes to inspect the item.

If you find a problem, select “Reject” within the inspection period to request a refund. If you approve the item, the transaction is completed and a refund can no longer be requested.

When will I receive my refund?

Approved refunds are processed automatically:

  • Vendora Wallet: The amount appears immediately.
  • Other payment method: The amount usually appears within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

You can find the refund receipt under Transactions, in the history of the relevant purchase.

I haven’t received my refund

If the refund was issued to your original payment method, allow up to 5 business days for your bank to process it.

If this period has passed or you cannot find the refund receipt in your transaction history, contact Vendora Support and include the relevant transaction details.
